Cheap flights around Europe?

Cheap flights around Europe?

Postby MacW » Sat Mar 20, 2010 5:12 am

Hello people.

I have been trying to find some cheap flights for myself and my mother, we intend to tour a few European cities, as a month long break. I have tried contacting airlines direct but they don't seem too competitive, any ideas please?

Thanks!

Mac.

You probably should have posted this in the flights forum, you would have gotten more answers!

However, take a look here, http://www.cozyprices.com/flights.html I found this very helpful!

Thanks very much, that link gave me some leads, and I managed to book some decent air fares from http://www.easyjet.com.

P.S.

Sorry for posting in the wrong forum!

Might also be worth booking in advance and avoid weekend dates if you can as it is generally cheaper. :D

Yes, booking in advance is a sure fire way to get yourself cheaper flights.

And don't forget last minute bookings! These can still be cheap, although not as cheap as they used to be.

A couple of years back I got myself a flight from London Gatwick to Ibiza for pennies, simply by turning up at the airline desk and saying I was willing to fly any time. I had to wait a fair few hours but eventually they found a seat that needed to be filled!
