Commercial cruises?

Hi folks!

I have always fancied going on a cruise, but its always looked a bit too expensive for me.

A friend just told me about something called commercial cruises, where you have a cabin on a commercial ship, not a cruise liner, does anyone know anything about this?

Hi Rup!

My mother and father did some of this about 10 years ago!

They said it was great, although not an awful lot to do on the ship. Commercial cruising is where the inspiration of the song "Slow Boat to China" came from by the way.
